Currently undergoing a major transformation, Mechelen Station is being completely modernized while remaining fully operational for passengers.
The project, led by Artes Group and CIT Blaton, is being carried out in several phases and involves the renovation of the remaining 10 platforms, with an estimated cost of €100 million. The first phase has already seen platforms 1 and 2 reopened, while platforms 8, 9 and 10 are currently undergoing renovation. The works are expected to continue until mid-2030. 🛠️
A complex but exciting project
This project is yet another demonstration of our structural engineering expertise on large-scale projects, particularly in a railway environment. It also highlights our ability to manage projects in constrained environments while ensuring the safety of both existing and future infrastructure.
We are proud to contribute to this exceptional project.
