Description
Belgium participated in the World Expo, Expo 2025 Osaka, as an international participant. The event took place from April 13 to October 13, 2025. Our team had the immense pleasure of carrying out the engineering studies for the Belgian Pavilion at the World Expo in Japan. This project was structurally complex, as the pavilion had to be completely dismantled at the end of the exhibition, while also meeting demanding sustainability requirements.
Delivering this project on the other side of the world, beyond the technical constraints and cultural differences, required passion, perseverance, and seamless communication.
The 2,800 m² building, including 1,400 m² of exhibition space, consists of a steel structure designed to withstand wind loads of up to 250 km/h as well as the significant seismic activity in Japan.
