In Tournai, the iconic Silos des Bastions site, located along the Scheldt, is about to embark on a new chapter in its history.

Once a witness to the city’s industrial activity, this site steeped in history is now the subject of an ambitious redevelopment project led by Dherte. The objective is to transform this piece of industrial heritage into a contemporary and sustainable residential development.

The project involves the construction of 75 residential units across three buildings, while preserving and enhancing several of the site’s key architectural features. These include four historic silos, as well as the remarkable paraboloid, a concrete canopy with a distinctive geometric design that serves as a strong architectural signature.
